What excellent response and service time! Our unit made squealing noises the previous night so I quickly looked into A/C recommendations on my Nextdoor app. This company was one of the top two and since the other guy was on vacation, I chose Amir’s. So glad I did! After speaking with Colleen in the main office, she called back to let me know he had a break in the day and would get to me within the hour. Another 10 minutes later, he arrived!
Although I was concerned about the service charge for coming out, I chanced it anyway since we’re in the middle of a heat wave. I described the problem, he listened to the unit and after a diagnosis, immediately got to work. He had a little extra drill work to do to get to our unit as it’s inside an enclosed “pen” with no door! Since we have a dog, he also gave it a good cleaning. I should have taken before and after photos for this. All in all, our problem was dealt with within 2 hours of my initial call. The pricing seemed fair, Amir was professional and kind, and we will definitely use him again for maintenance. Thank you, Colleen & Amir! We highly recommend Heating, Cooling and Beyond!
I meant to review this sooner! Last month I received excellent service right from the scheduling with Colleen in the Canoga Park office and super friendly and knowledgeable Manager Janet. I got a full explanation from Owner Amir that personally went to the house to give me an assessment. He was professional, trustworthy and worth the price. You get what you pay for. His team performed the work and he was there to inspect too. Since this was a rental I also got a report from my tenants that were totally satisfied with the service. Amir also made some recommendations for the future. All appointments were met on schedule and they cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them and will!!!!

I am very grateful for fantastic service from this family company. It’ s extremely hot summer ! We are in luxury Italian leather furniture business,Fabio & Co showroom in Agoura Hills,CA is HUGE 17000 sq ft. Last week 2 AC units just died on us. Disaster ! I go in desperate search and a client of mine recommended Amir. He showed up,inspected & gave us fair estimate for repair. Job was done within 24 hours,so we were ready for very busy week-end. All the guys were on time,polite and efficient.Highly recommend this business !
Absolutely the best HVAC company to go with! Honest, trustworthy and hardworking group of people. We got multiple bids from reputable companies for our HVAC system and water heater. Amir and his team stand above the rest. Everyone at this company is great to work with. Amir did an amazing job at troubleshooting problems with our HVAC system and came up with solutions to make our system safe and efficient. Juan and his team did an outstanding job with installation and great workmanship. Jamie really works with you to get the work scheduled in a timely manner. They are easy to work with, fair and really good at what they do. Highly recommend this company!

I had a new HVAC system installed by Heating Cooling & Beyond Inc about a month ago. I called them after getting a few estimates from other companies. Amir, the owner, came over that evening. I was surprised that he could make it over so quick. I had been going through getting estimates with contractors because we are having other work done to our home. Well, we all know how that goes. Usually they are dismissive to women or condescending. Not smart. Because yoo hoo? We are the ones making the decisions. It is 2016 by the way.
I was worried about Amir when I first saw him because I thought he might be too young to understand business and customer service. Boy was I wrong! He’s a young guy but with Old Fashioned Customer Service values. He’s so honest and so professional. He’s like straight out of the 1950’s! Our job was not easy. We had to have a hallway furnace removed and put in a new one but up in the attic, which means a lot of things had to be done, not just a simple simple. He gave us the price that evening. The price was great! I told my husband after he left, that is who we are hiring. I had a few more questions and I had some things to think about. I emailed Amir with questions and concerns about the job itself, he emailed me right back with answers that made me feel even more comfortable with this company and the process. Even Jamie who answers the phone and takes care of customers is on top of everything. This company is great. So easy to do business with. And my new HVAC system! OMG! We are so happy! And Cool! And it is really quiet! Thank you Amir! You are great!!
In my initially telephone conversation with a woman whom was very knowledgable and thorough stated that her first available appointment was for Wednesday-which was terrific to hear as I understand this is their peak season. I explained my situation and asked if there was a charge for an estimate. She (I wish I remembered her name) politely stated that there would be no charge- thank goodness, seriously some of these companies can make a decent living if they were to charge an estimate fee of $89.00 like my last call, and if they did six estimates a day would be $534.00 a day, $3204.00 for a 6 day week, $12816,00 a month (4 weeks), $153,792.00 a year- so you must see how skeptical I am for companies that charge for an estimate- Thank goodness I searched further through Yelp to find what sounds like a reasonable company, whom was thorough and efficiant from the start. See you guys on Tuesday and thank you for being very courteous!!

I contacted the company because of the extremely positive reviews here on Yelp. I was not disappointed. Amir came out and gave me a quote to check and service my ac, clean the air ducts, and completely rebuild the heater furnace (which had a number of internal issues caused by a previous repair many years earlier.)
At first, the quote of $1,800.00 seemed rather high. However, the repairs and service ended up requiring 3 guys a total of 9 hours (taking less than 30 minutes for lunch) to complete. A special thanks, not just to Amir, but also Rafael and Jaime for working so hard (except for lunch, they never stopped working), being very polite, and maintaining a fantastic level of professionalism.
I should add, that I had two other companies provide quotes. One quote was only slightly less and the second one was significantly higher. I own a few rentals, and for big jobs, they are the best I have ever dealt with.
They are GREAT. My AC went out on a Saturday. I called my usual company for a service call, but they were rude and didn’t even have service available (despite advertising weekend servicing). SO, I checked the LIST and found Heating, Cooling & Beyond. The young lady I spoke to on the phone was very professional and helpful (she even let me vent about other company). She set up an appointment for Sunday. On Sunday, they arrived and were able to immediately diagnose my issues and get me back to being cool!
I recommend HC&B to everyone. I plan to use them again in the future!! You should, too.
